At Lighthouse Christian Home Educators, parents are our ministry partners through teaching classes with fellow members. We believe that God has called and gifted each adult with unique talents and interests to minister to and equip the next generation.  When we are excited about what WE do, we can inspire THEM!

 

• Whether you love singing, sewing, knitting, drama, writing, science, music, art, math, technology, gardening, animals, woodworking, ballet, welding, sports, nutrition, party planning, cosmetology, mechanics, nature, programming, or whatever…today’s kids need DIRECTION more than ever, and YOU can help!  

 

• We also believe that to build children’s confidence they need to be given the opportunity to share their talents and develop leadership skills.  That’s why we allow our responsible 16 year old students to shine by teaching classes under the leadership of their parents to younger aged children. 

 

• We do not require parents to teach classes in order to participate in co-op, but everyone is required to help in some way. The more help we have, the more we can do!
